What is a good medication in pill form for dogs to control fleas and ticks?

Comfortis is great and can be taken orally. As someone said before Sentinel is an oral pill, however, sentinel is mainly a heartworm prevention. It also has a flea sterilizer in it. It will not kill fleas it will only keep the ones that bite your dog from breeding.What is a good medication in pill form for dogs to control fleas and ticks?

I like Sentinel. It protects against heartworm, intestinal parasites and fleas. I'm not sure about ticks, though. And I know it won't do anything for adult fleas already on a dog. A single dose of Capstar will take care of any fleas a dog has, and Sentinel will protect the dog from getting any more.
Capstar, will kill all fleas within 4 hours of dosing. It is a pill. There are no known side effects. Can be given to young pups and can be repeated as needed. There is a web page www.capstar. Still prefer Frontline for the lasting effect but you did ask for a pill form.
I don't think there is a pill shaped medication but there is flea and tick repelent. you can use Revaloution.that is what we use and it works very well.it controls the bugs and everything.we havent seen a bug on my little dog since we started to use it!!
Comfortis is a great pill for fleas on dogs, not sure about ticks.It last for a month.
Front line it works great on my jack Russel he doesn't scratch very often and he doesnt chew at his fur
Frontline. Put a little on your dog's neck every month and they will be good.
