How does a birth control pill stop you from having a baby? It it a form of early abortion?

No, a birth-control pill is a form of contraception. They stop you from getting pregnant in the first place.

I agree with Heisenberg, talk to a doctor or planned parenthood, and they'll explain, in depth, how different birth-control pills work. How does a birth control pill stop you from having a baby? It it a form of early abortion?

No, it is not. The pill contains synthetic hormones which, when taken every day, will trick your body into thinking it is already pregnant. It therefore does not bother ovulating and you are much less likely to get pregnant.
well, I don't know exactly how it works, But i do know that it is not a form of abortion. It suppresses ovulation. Again I'm not sure exactly how it works. Hopefully someone elss can answer the how for you.
its not a form of abortion heres a website that tells what the diffrent kinds of birthcontrol do i hope this helps and its always better to know then not know about this kind of stuff
it most certainly is not a form of early abortion.

you need to sit down with your doctor and discuss how the pill works.
