What form of birth control is best in your opinion? ?

I'm trying to get on birth control, but there are so many different types. If anyone has anything positive or negative to say please leave a comment.What form of birth control is best in your opinion? ?
I've been using Yaz for the last 6 months, it seems to work nicely. I even lost 5 pounds!

Careful with IUD, I do believe it is one of the best options, but in most European countries they suggest you wait 6 months to a year after the birth of your child before you have it. Otherwise it may cause some medical problems. And I prefer condoms - you do not have to put anything in your body that does not belong there and keep it there for years.
Abstinence is by far the best. Pills are relatively effective but not 100%, depo shots work but generally cause an increase in weight. Really the best thing is to talk to your doctor about all the side effects of the various types and go from there.



If you have already had a baby, merina is great. the doctor puts it in, you don't really feel any thing, it doesn't hurt at all. It can last up to five years if you want it to and can be taken out whwnever you want. No more worrying about pills patches etc.
I think the nuva ring or the IUD are best, they're nonhormonal.. Any hormonal birth control will cause some problems in someway.. I'm going to get an IUD after I give birth because you can use it for ten years and i havent found any side effects from it..
I've been on orthotricyclen or its generic for about 8 or so years. The pill had an added advantage of regulating my cycle, which was highly irregular before (sometimes as long as 60 days or more in between!) It's nice having predictability.

If you REALLY want to have sex and not get pregnant i highly recommend you using birth control pill AND ALSO condon, that way the chances are so reduced its almost impossible
abstinence is 100% effective, just not very fun.
