The short answer is that both break strong taboos in many (but not all) of the world's cultures. The slightly longer answer is that murder (in particular) removes the individual's free will, violating one of the main principles of Western thought. Why don't people see mass murder/suicide as a form of population control or abortion?
First of all, the people that are committing these atrocities, are evil, to the core. Second of all, God is very capable of deciding who and how to create population controls... So, to answer your question, people, or I should say sane people, people with a heart or a conscious don't think that mass murder, suicide, and abortion are appropriate forms of population control because they are not population control, they are act of pure evil. The people that God brings into this world are here because He allowed them to be. That is not to say that Evil cannot prevail from evil minded people.
I hope you can change your way of thinking, because right now, with this question, you are way off.Why don't people see mass murder/suicide as a form of population control or abortion?
What if you were one to be killed for ';population control'; ?
Well some people do, and they are usually crazy.

Whats the best form of birth control?
I'm married, want to have sex and I've already had a little one and I know that abstinence is the best way blah blah blah blah...Whats the best form of birth control?
Talk to your doctor- there are plenty of easy birth control methods out there now. The pill being the most effective and proven method- it allows you to have sex without extra protection (read: more fun!) It also regulates your menstrual cycle.
There are of course many more options besides barrier methods which, for married couples, aren't the best solution. Vaginal ring, IUD, the patch, DepoProvera... just to name a few!Whats the best form of birth control?
Well, depends on what is important to you when you think about birth control.
For me, I abhor anything that does upheavals to my hormones as I believe more in holistic health. Thus, I will NEVER choose to use pills.
So I dun really have much choice left but to use the condom.
However, that is not a very good way as the protection is only 90% max. My son was concieved while i used a condom... ;)
So it really depends on what is important to you. Are you looking for convenience, how it affects our health or effectiveness?
Vasectomy works all the time.
all of them are good but you should see your nurse to see what is better for you

How about this form of gun control?
Kennesaw currently has 30,000 residents.
In March 1982, 25 years ago, the small town of Kennesaw 鈥?responding to a handgun ban in Morton Grove, Ill. 鈥?unanimously passed an ordinance requiring each head of household to own and maintain a gun. Since then, despite dire predictions of ';Wild West'; showdowns and increased violence and accidents, not a single resident has been involved in a fatal shooting 鈥?as a victim, attacker or defender.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news鈥?/a>How about this form of gun control?
Big Smalls...Kennesaw is still very much metro Atlanta and within Cobb County which does have a lot of crime. Of course the city limits of Atlanta will have more crime, all inner cities do. But Kennesaw is an example of how law abiding gun ownership doesn't increase crime as liberals love to believe. How about this form of gun control?
As a resident of Georgia, I can assure you that the story is not as amazing as it seems. This IS the south. Have you ever been? Kennesaw isn't in any way the same as the city of Atlanta (for example), where the population is higher, and the demographic vastly different. Kennesaw, before the ordinance, didn't see the level of crime seen just 20 minutes down I-75, and still does not today. Your article isn't news to me, and changes nothing. Those who carry guns are more likely to be effected by incidents involving guns.
I say hell yeah. This is what our founding fathers would have wanted. Everyone should own at least one gun if not more. I love the 2nd ammendment. And believe me there will come a day when they want to take away everyone's guns. And that's the day someone will step on my porch asking for my guns and have a hole in their guts. God Bless Our Republic.
Every household in Switzerland is required to have a rifle.
It's the main reason why nobody's ever messed with Switzerland.
Interesting indeed but more study is required - would you support this law in down town Harlem ? Or Watts ?
Nobody ever messes with switzerland because they have those swiss army knives.
you are forgetting the part that it's a small town. Lets make every person in New York to maintain a gun... That will not work the same way at all.
Gun control is the ability to put the second bullet through the hole made by the first one.
That is amazing!
wow!! thats great gun control
I cant complain about this idea
if you show me your gun I'll show you mine
hehehe

Is organized religion a form of mind control?
YES!! There is always some ';holy'; or priest class who ';knows more than YOU do'; and they have the ';in'; with God- ONLY they can do ';the sacrifice'; (think of roman catholic- the mass is the daily sacrifice- the laity then eat it- the whole hierarchy understands the scripture, not the ';congregation';)
The Ayatollahs get blind followers- the JW's ';elders'; and Mormons too- their ';elders'; or whatever they call them- have the insight- and ought to be obeyed!! or else!
The Llamas used to be part of a very cruel ruling class too- it wasn't so lovely and peaceful as the myth built up about Nepal and Tibet is today!!!
The Brahmas looked down on the lower castes! It is the same everywhere!
NO, organized religions are NOT what God has in mind.
It's between us and God, personally. NO more ';go-betweens'; now, we have Christ, and Christ alone. Is organized religion a form of mind control?
yes. and so is the media...
just look around you and see how many people dress contrary to what they see on tv or the movies....
and why do people vote for the guy with the most publicity? why not the guy or gal with no publicity? why get your info from the tv when you can research the candidates yourself and NOT be told what to think about the person....Is organized religion a form of mind control?
I prefer to think of it this way:
';If organised religion is the opium of the masses, then disorganised religion is the marijuana of the lunatic fringe';
- Kerry Thornley
The thing is, people don't know that they have been brainwashed. That is WHY it is called ';mind control';. They claim religion is a conscious decision but they are not aware, it is only a symptom of social conditioning.
somehow to me it is because religion should be helping to find the god inside you but it seems that is not the direction of most religion....
It can be. That's why it's so hard to find a true church that focuses on God's teachings and doesn't include cultural/personal biases and temptations that can poison the ministry of the church.
Not necessarily. It depends on the religion in question.
Scriptures such as Matthew 24:14 shows that there would be a need for an organized group for that work to be accomplished.
Yes. I go to church to learn how to let God control my mind because I do not do a very good job of it.
No one forced me to be a Christian, I made a fully conscious decision.
No more so than TV.
Yes, in a nutshell, it is.
only if its cults that deny the trinity..

Is abstinence the best form of birth control?
Of course! It's 100% effective, there's no risk of STDs, it doesn't cost a dime, no risk of physical or emotional problems, and there's no sin involved! What could be better? Is abstinence the best form of birth control?
Of course it is!
Condoms, birth control pills, and other birth control methods are not 100% fool proof. They can still fail and result in pregnancy. If you are not ready to take on the responsibility of another human being, simply don't have sex.Is abstinence the best form of birth control?
It is the only form of birth control that is 100% effective
obviously
No, it isn't. Although abstinence is the only way to absolutely certain that pregnancy does not occur it will only work if you actually abstain. I think that having a backup plan in place is always a good idea.

Using birth control as a form of abortion?
so this was a weird thing i heard about using birth control pills to abort a fertalized egg. it was really strange and i was just curious about anyones take on it.
it was said that if you take 2 pills every two hours it was able to abort the egg and forcing you to have your period. the reason is because since you are taking so much of the pill that it is putting all this estrogen inside your body that it gives out and leads to a miscarriage.
it sounds pretty dangerous and poisonous to me.
your opinion?Using birth control as a form of abortion?
Actually, the method you describe is pretty much the same idea as plan B. it's what docs used to use before Plan B was offered. It's two pills three times a day for two days if I recall correctly (I had a close friends do it many years ago).
Plan B is just a concentrated dose of a slightly different hormone. Works the same way as if you go the birth control pill route. If you have an egg fertilized, the pills prevent it from implanting in your uterus. Not quite the same as abortion, which rips an implanted and growing fetus from your womb.
Personally, I don't consider them to be the same thing, although many who believe life begins at the moment of conception disagree. Here's how I think of it: if a fertilized egg can't turn into a baby without implantation, then how is it an unborn child? If you consider all fertilized eggs to be babies, then what about all those frozen embryos in fertility centers? If the fertility doc implants like 5, hoping one will catch, then would you say the other four were ';aborted'; because they didn't implant? What about the leftovers that aren't used because the couple gets pregnant? Should they be forced to bring all of those to term?
Just my perspective. Hope it helps. BTW, I am generally pro-life, but also choose to use my own mind to decide what is right and wrong.Using birth control as a form of abortion?
I suggest you get a new hobby dear. Try tatting or petit point.
It sounds unhealthy and just as disgusting. If you're against abortion, why would you force yourself into a miscarriage? It's hypocritical. I suppose it depends on how far along you are when you take it, but... I really don't see much of a difference. A day-after pill is one thing, but a force-miscarriage is just... wrong.
Yeah w/e ... I'm a Catholic school gurl, and abortions sound ok to me. are not bad.
Just to add:
If you take too many and the fetus doesnt abort and you actually deliver the baby will most likely come out with a lot of different birth defects (ie born with out a brain, and trust me I didnt believe it til I seen it for myself)
that doesnt seem safe!
one alternative is just to get 'the morning after pill' and use that.
hope this helps!
sounds very unhealthy and dangerous
I believe you would ebd up in the hospital and may still be pregnant!
pretty dangerous and poisonous.
It's not a good idea...sometimes the fetus will still form altho it will have abnormalities some of which are not compatable to life. Or you'll have a stillborn baby.
Cat curiosity get my drift...
i know somepeople may find they need to have an abortions but to do it on their own buy overdosing on birth control is murder and just plain wrong in my opinion.
but to answer your question, im not sure but it definately sounds dangerous to me. and irrisponsible not something i would not do
Technically: no. either someone has been giving you night mares, or giving out info wrong. It keeps the egg from fertilizing...so there is no baby in u in the first place so technically it is not a form of abortion...
babies are sweet! when ur ready, you should def have one!
Regular birth control doesn't work like that. Regular birth control on affects ovulation and prevents the fertilization of an egg. The morning after pill IS an abortive, it does not prevent ovulation, it does not prevent fertilization of an egg however it does (at least 85% of the time in CORRECT circumstances) prevent implantation of an already fertilized egg. I often question when young women will actually start listening to their doctors and pay attention to the information given with their regular birth control rather than rely on the undereducated old wive's tales they get from their peers. SIGH...no wonder so many teens are pregnant these days.
Wouldn't recommend it .
i wouldn't risk it. sounds like you could poison yourself
Plan B is now available in most drug stores. I would go that route instead of trying to take your birth control pills in large quantities. That does not sound safe.

Why is Depo-Provera the best form of birth control? writing an essay for english class, need sources.?
Just curious - is this the topic you were assigned, or did you pick it?
There are a lot of pros and cons to every type of birth control...depo isn't necessarily the best. It's ';easy'; (a shot every three months), and for some women it can helps lighten flow/ease cramping. But...it's a synthetic hormone and can cause really unpleasant side-effects such as depression, calcium loss in your bones, weight-gain and loss of sex drive (among many others). Also, if you are using depo and plan to become pregnant, your body will need about a full year to return to fertility.
The ';best'; form of birth control, ultimately, is the one that will be used correctly every time, and has the least amount of objectionable side effects for the user. Why is Depo-Provera the best form of birth control? writing an essay for english class, need sources.?
Well, depends what you mean by ''best''. It is the most effective of all hormonal methods in preventing pregnancy, but it is also only to be used as a last resort when other methods aren't appropriate. It contains no estrogen, and a synthetic version of progesterone. The side effects include more weight gain than the pill (11 lbs vs 4 lbs), mood swings, it lowers the calcium in your bone (bone density loss) so you need to take a calcium supplement while on it, and you should not use it longer than two consecutive years. After you quit taking Depo it can take 9 months to resume a regular menstrual cycle and become fertile again. I am on it and I love it, but I understand the risks involved. A lot of women will tear it apart because they're not familiar with the pharmacology behind it and used it without educating themselves first and then experienced some of the many side effects. They advertise no period, but only about 50% of users lose it completely. Others spot, some quite continuously.
That said, you don't have to take a pill every day, it's effective for three months, it is most effective of all hormonal methods, it's cheap (~$40 a shot), and it can also be used as treatment for endometriosis.
If you're looking for real sources use Google Scholar and find peer reviewed articles written by real doctors. They will be non-biased and accurate.

Is anyone bothered that some people use abortions as a form of birth control?
It bothers me too. There are so many other options. I feel don't kill the child b/c of your stupidity. It makes me mad to hear that women are having abortions b/c lack of birth control. I'm 20 years old and this is my 1st child i'm having, the baby was unexpected but the father and I are doing what we need to do and preparing for the bundle of joy thats going to be in our lives. Is anyone bothered that some people use abortions as a form of birth control?
I don't think it should be used as a form of birth control. I also don't agree with them in general. Is anyone bothered that some people use abortions as a form of birth control?
Yes, I am so sick of hereing about the morning after pill that I could puke. Hell put a coat on the thing or keep it in there pants. And the women need to grow up and act more there age instead of shoe size.
you do?
bothered! ugh! i hate it! it is disgusting and uncalled for. you spread em you get em! deal with it already and be a real woman and raise your kids...don't kill them!
I am extremely bothered. I think it's sad that I live in a country that allows murder to go on each and every day. I see girls who have had more than ten abortions. I want to tell those dumbies that hey, birth control is free at the health clinic. Abortion is f u c ked up and the people that argue for it are too.
I'm bothered by the idea of someone using abortion as a form of birth control....however, I feel like women should have a choice too! But, using this as a form of birth control is not only lazy, but very disgusting too!!!
Yes! Very much bcuz it's laziness. I've known and heard of women having 3-5 abortions bcuz she (obviously) didn't FEEL like using a condom or getting on birth control. It's awful and neglegent. And some say ';don't be so harsh, she's going through a hard time'; but I could see the first time as a hard time, but what about after the 3rd time? What do you call it then? People don't want to realize that they are responsible for themselves and their actions. They're so quick to blame someone else in any situation. I'm fat- it's McDonalds fault. I'm depressed- it's my Dad's fault. I'm knocked up again- it's that ******* fault. I'm broke- it's my boss' fault. So when do people wake up and take responsibility for themselves? Nobody wants to! They want someone to make their decisions, pay their bills, feed them and wipe their a**.
Yes this bothers me very much, its sick how some people can do that! why cant they just go out and buy sum condoms or get some birth control??
I dont judge people who have had abortions its their right. Its not something I personally would do but I dont judge others. Using it as birth control is a little uncalled for and I think they need to realize what its doing to their bodies each time they do it, I also wonder how many make up bs stories to get people on here all riled up
hell yea should not be haveing sex if cant take care of baby
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Women - you have other options.
Men - help her look at all the options.
Yes, I am a Christian and I believe abortion is murder. You can have a baby for free these days and you can also give it up for adoption for free. I wish I could just up and have a baby but it isn't in the cards for me.
It does bother me. I am pro choice and very strong believe that a woman has a choice in the outcome with her pregnancy. But a woman needs also to take responsibility for her reproduction. I would think preventing pregnancy would be easier being that abortions are expensive, painful, can have side effects and can be emotionally draining. You would think after the first unwanted pregnancy, they would learn.
During my second pregnancy, I had considered abortion due to health reasons. That time was one of the most pain full and stressful times of my life. Thankfully, the new medicine worked and I did not have to make that decision. I just do not understand how someone could think... ';well, I don't need to use a condom, I'll just have an abortion';.
YES! I am totally against abortion!!! Give the baby up for adoption for pete's sake!
Amen!!! It bothers me big time! My husband and I have been trying to have another one, and I keep having miscarriages. Its depressing seeing these ppl abort healthy babies. Someone yesterday admitted to aborting twins!!!! Sometimes I honestly cry reading these things. I really do.
It's really none of my business what another person does, but simply taking the birth control pill AND using condoms is much easier, cheaper, less stressful, and obviously less morally debatable, therefore better for the woman herself. If you know you can't handle a baby, why wouldn't you take all the precautions available? Abortions are available for EMERGENCY situations, but a few women take advantage of them as ';their right';...yes, you have that legal right, but don't you owe it to yourself (even if you don't think you owe it to your child) to have more respect and care for your own body to at least make an ATTEMPT not put it through such an ordeal?
What REALLY kills me are the questions about ';I had an abortion last month then had sex five times in the enxt month and we used the pull-out method...can I be pregnant?'; Uhhh, if you just had ONE unwanted pregnancy, wouldn't you wise up and prevent yourself from having another one?
Ah yes the alleged women who use abortions as birth control. Have any evidence that they even exist, because I haven't seen any.
i think it is wrong to have an abortion in any case, but i do feel its crazy to keep having abortions because you chose not to use protection. i had an aunt that had 5 abortions, I figure she was old enough to figure out how babies are made!! but i guess not!!
i definately am. why would you kill the child you brought into the world because of one stupid mistake? was it the baby's fault? my goodness.
yes i hate it i am appalled by it i think it is soo stupid their killing a human being it is terrible i am absoulty disgusted by it
Birth control is suppose to prevent the pregnancy taking place. Having an abortion is preventing responsibility for not being smart and preventing the birth in the first place. Whoever thiks that this is a form of birth control is a F**kin retard.
I do not agree with abortion instead of birth control either, but I am not totally against it for certain reasons. My view on this has changed completely within the past week. I used to be so pro life!
I am going through something right now that is tearing me apart. I found out 2 weeks ago that my hubby and I were successful in making baby #3 and we were extremely happy until we found out this week, after going to ER for chest pain, that I have a major heart condition and that 60% of women who carry a baby through pregnancy with this condition will die. Abortion is recommended for patients with this condition. I have 2 children already that need me and I have also spent my adult life risking my own life to save others as an EMT and firefighter. Now I am stuck with making a decision that no mom should ever have to make.
The abortion issue is not cut and dry like I used to believe. I now understand that there are some acceptable reasons.
Sorry for responding to other comments instead of answering your question, but my response should tell you everything you need to know about where I stand...
As for the ';mythological'; women who use abortion as birth control: Number one, it may be argued that when you do not use protection, end up pregnant, and get an abortion, you are using abortion for birth control. That's not a difficult argument to make. If, when I have sex, I use a condom to avoid having a baby, I am using a condom as birth control, am I not? How is it different when a woman says, ';hey, if I end up pregnant, I'll just get an abortion';? That is her method of birth control.
And number two: I have personally known people who have had multiple abortions. As in more than two. More than three. More than four. What other form of birth control could these women possibly be using? Time to switch, I would say. The only times that abortion is not ';used as birth control'; are when the mother has been raped (who takes birth control in case they're raped?) or when there is a developmental problem with the baby. Or in cases that jeopardize the LIFE of the mother- as in Wormbutt's case. Neither would justify abortion for me personally, but those are the only cases over which the woman herself has no control. In normal cases of consensual sex, there is NEVER an excuse to say ';Oh, oops. Looks like I'm gonna have to have an abortion.';
And ';what does abortion have to do with pregnancy?'; Really, now. What DOESN'T it have to do with pregnancy?
I have an aunt and uncle who waited FOUR YEARS to adopt a child when she couldn't conceive. Isn't it interesting that the number of children murdered in utero in this country is almost EXACTLY equal to the number of prospective adoptive parents. The ';unwanted babies'; argument does not hold any water. THERE ARE NO UNWANTED BABIES. Just because the mother doesn't want them, that does NOT make them UNWANTED. There are thousands of families out there who DESPERATELY want them.
I keep hearing women say ';It's one thing to have it happen once. But to keep doing it... that's awful.'; Why is it awful? It's only awful if it is in fact a baby. If it's not a baby, then it's no different from getting a tattoo, and then getting another, and then another. And if it IS in fact a baby, then it's awful the first time, and the second, and the third... It's always awful. It's always murder. Or it never is. I don't understand the argument that it's okay if she doesn't make a habit of it.
i think for every person its diffrent depends on the circumstance but to keep having them 1 after another is just awful
What does this have to do with pregnancy?
Not really. If someone is dumb enough to shell out hundreds of dollars for an abortion instead of using a condom or getting the pill what kind of parent would they be?
ugh u ppl r so closed minded..yall make me so ******* frustrated...did itever occur to ne of u that sometimes u have to do that...in sum situations thats sumthing that has to b done? prolly not cuz yall r so damn perfect that u could never b raped...i hate to break it to u but the fact that we live in america means we get to have a choice....yea u get to have ur opinions but didnt ur moms ever teach u if u dnt have ne thing nice to say dont say ne thing...

Alternate form of birth control?
I can't use hormones due to health reasons, and I can't use the IUD. It's seeming as though condoms and diaphragms are our only options, but we would have to stop and either insert or put on in the midst of a ';moment.'; Any suggestions otherwise that would prevent us from having to interrupt an intimate moment? Side note: It's my husband so I don't need to protect against STDs.Alternate form of birth control?
I can't believe people are recommending Emergency Contraception. There's no way you want to put that stuff in your body every morning after you have sex with your husband. That stuff should only be prescribed to people who have been raped, even then if it were me I couldn't do it, it's still MY child in my womb I'd be killing.
My husband and I are in the exact same boat, and unfortunately we are just getting used to the condom. We are trying to keep track of my cycle though, and particularly right after my period we have ';free'; sex for about three days after, and it's wonderful.
Then there's surgical sterilization of course, but perhaps you're not ready for that yet.Alternate form of birth control?
Emergency contraception (a pill you should take the day after your ';moment';)
I guess Plan B, a morning after pill. Nonprescribed.

I agree some religious people live in a fog. A God fog, where everything they do, it comes back to God. How about you? What's your poison? My guess is pop culture. You lap up everything the TV and internet toss to you, and are told what to think by vapid douchebags on TV.

Did you know that any man can control your mind and brain-wash you? When a person believes in Jesus Christ and has faith in Him and that all His words are truth, that comes from the heart. No man can ';mind'; control your heart or ';brain'; wash your heart. We have free will to choose in our heart to accept God or not.
no it is a way of freeing yourself from the enslaving aspects of this life like; selfishness, sloth, addiction, greed, lust etc. etc.
If you think your not a slave to something then try to live without it. Go ahead and try a week without coffee, or a smoke or even a beer, food also can enslave people, try fasting for a day and see what you crave. Yep it is slavery and we do it to ourselves.

Yes it can. It's a relaxer, so it encourages complacency with whatever is going on. It is also addictive, and delicious!
No alcohol makes people unpredictable and sloppy, it causes nothing but chaos.
Huh!? How many civil groups of drunks have you ran into?
Sure - once could argue that if peope are not sober, they are not as likely to be able to pull of great actos of thinking and coordination over time.
I raised a similar issue here the other day when UI got tired of seeing the same ';why is pot illegal'; question 10 times a day.
I mentioned that even if it should be, for the past 60 years or so, the people who care the most have not been able to get organized enough to persuade everyone to change the law.
I guess youcould make the same case for alcohol, or at least a similar one.
OTOH, there has never been any complex society where there were no mind altering substances that I know of, so I wouldn't fall prey to any grand conspriacy theories.
i agree with the first one
No, because people under the influence are irrational and unpredictable, not ';controllable';.
EDIT: Merriam Webster definition of control: ';to exercise restraining or directing influence over';. Very hard to restrain or direct influence over drunks. Or,don't you watch ';COPS';?
Yes, provided that you want the masses to be obnoxious and shout Woooooooo a lot.

On World of Warcraft when a druid gets the flight form do you get to control it?
Hi I am a WoW player and I was wondering if you can control yourself when your flying unlike how you take a community mount and you select a city and it takes you thereOn World of Warcraft when a druid gets the flight form do you get to control it?
Yes you can. It's like controlling a flying mount for non druids at level 60 and epic flight form comes at 70. It's only useable in outland and northrend until the new expansion 'Cataclysm' comes out, which will enable flying mounts in the old zones as well.
level 60- flight form + expert riding training
level 70- epic flight form + artisan riding training (5000 gold)
also it costs another 1000 gold to be able to fly in northrend (cold weather flying)On World of Warcraft when a druid gets the flight form do you get to control it?
its just like a flying mount where u hold space bar to go up and control yourself, u dont click the city u control it urself, and u can only fly it in outlands i believe.
Yes you can, and I think before you can fly in Northrend druids also require cold weather flying.

Google VB object naming conventions and take your pick of many sets. Or go directly to http://www.visibleprogress.com/vb_naming鈥?/a> Just realize there are many variations of conventions. It is good to select and use one that is outlined on a VB web site in case you forget someday or need to tell someone else the conventions you used.

Isn't faith the ultimate form of mind control?
I no longer need my brain for I have faith to guide my every move.Isn't faith the ultimate form of mind control?
Depending on what your faith is in..
It is through faith in God I receive revelation from God.
God is an eternal spirit his truth is revealed through the spirit.
A man's intellegence is limited ..God is eternal..If you wish to know truth greater than flesh and blood you need to receive it from God.
It is the reason Jesus taught
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.Isn't faith the ultimate form of mind control?
NO! You do not understand faith. Without using a brain, it is impossible to have faith. Only an intelligent person can have faith and can practice faith. Faith is the exact opposite of mind control. Learn what faith really means before you start denigrating it.
Go in peace.
And, always remember: -- Jesus loves you!!
Sincerely,
Uncle Floyd
No.
Question answered.
Faith =/= Mind Control.
The faith of a Christian is based solidly on the revealed attributes of God.
I am sorry to hear you no longer need your brain.
when people have nothing they turn to god and then in their minds they still have something to live for, or in some cases die for
It makes life easier
whatever happens is supposed to happen
and God loves me
Silly no. Faith is Spirit period. No science is needed. Hell, science is what we call it.
I don't have any faith because God talks to me all the time inside my head.
It doesn't control your mind, It kills it...
I wouldn't put my friend through that...
It IS a form of mind control; I don't know that it is the ULTIMATE form.
~
That's partly why it won't go away.
No, free will give you the choice to accept or reject anything you want.
not the ultimate one, no.

Do you have to use an additional form of birth control for a while after you get an IUD?
nope your protected immediatelyDo you have to use an additional form of birth control for a while after you get an IUD?
I just got the IUD inserted and the doctor said that it is effective immediately after insertion. It is 99.9% effective (no method is 100% effective except abstinance). When you have the IUD inserted the doctor tells you to check inside your vagina for the strings which comfirm that the IUD is still inside your uterus. There is a chance of getting expelled so I suggest that before you have sex to check for the strings to comfirm that the IUD is still inside. If your IUD doesn't get expelled during the first 6 weeks of insertion then there is a good chance that throughout the period of using the IUD that it won't be expelled. Good Luck.Do you have to use an additional form of birth control for a while after you get an IUD?
No but you might want to for the first two weeks just in case the IUD decides to expel itself. No fuss, no mess, no side effects, no pills, no patches,no latex rubber, THIS is why IUDS are fabulous. You can keep gettin them replaced when they get old with new ones right up to menopause.

Does anyone use Nuva Ring as a form of birth control?
If so, how do you like it?
Is it effective?
Comfortable?
Did you gain weight, lose weight?
Side effects....Does anyone use Nuva Ring as a form of birth control?
I used it for a few months and loved it!!! i didn't gain a pound and it was very comfortable. my bf didn't mind it either :)Does anyone use Nuva Ring as a form of birth control?
I tried it, but I did not like it. It was always slipping down no matter how far I pushed it up. Due to it slipping out I got a UTI. I have very strong vaginal walls and have never had a kid, so there should be no reason to why it did it for me, but I guess everyones body is different. You could give it a try. I think I got a free trial online, you have to bring the print-out with your perscription before it gets filled.
I use the Mall as birth control, a stroll through there with the crying, whining kids is enough to make me keep mr happy under wraps.
I used it for a couple months and actually really liked it myself...but my BF didnt like it. He complained that he could feel it. I didn't have any side effects that I noticed.
I've been using it for 11mos. It's very comfortable, I don't even feel that it is there, my husband doesn't feel it. I didn't gain weight or lose weight. I have had no bad side effects. as for the effectiveness, it is just as effective as any other birth control, that is taken exactly as directed. i'm not pregnant. I haven't had any scares, that I was. I think it's effective. I love it, I actually haven't had my period since I started on it. I highly recommend it.
i didnt like it. it sucks trying to get it out, imagin having to dig your finger up in there. mine kept gettin jammed behind sumin in there. i had to try n get my finger as far in as i could n bend it while having my one leg propped up on somethig and slightly bent over it sucked! also the only but scary side affect for me, and the reason i deff decided to stop b/c all together was it made me pee blood. also i didnt gain or loose weight on it.

Is rape a form of social control?
is this question correct ? what do you think about this question? Is rape a form of social control?
It depends. During wartime invading troops committ mass acts of rape to terrorize the populace and to act in as hostile a manner as possible. So this would qualify both as a political crime and as a personal one as well as a social one meant to terrorize women.
In general rapists are driven by hostility and the act itself is one of sadism. It is not an act of lust, it is an act of hate, and what women are wearing has nothing to do with it - here we have countless examples of 80 year old women at home wearing pajamas asleep under the covers being raped by intruders. The act must be examined within its context. Is rape a form of social control?
Rape comes in five types -
Most are based on personal power over another - some of those also incorporate a dislike of women, some a hatred, some simply because the female is an easier target for their rage. For a complete review look up the FBI profile of rapists or a document by Anna McGrath on rape.
no it most certainly is not
not sure ..but it is a form of violence.
I say yes.

Whats the cheapest form of birth control?
besides condoms!
we hate the feeling of them, but we wont have sex without them untill im on birthcontrol.
neither of us are prepaired for a baby, so we wont risk it.
i dont have medical insurance and i have a crappy 6.75 an hour, 13 a week job. i cant afford much.
please helpWhats the cheapest form of birth control?
Although it has a high upfront cost, Mirena (a progesterone-containing IUD) is one of the cheapest forms of reliable birth control. This is because the cost is spread over 5 years, which is how long Mirena can stay in. I don't know the US prices, but in Canada it costs $300-400. I suppose there would also be an insertion fee in the US - maybe this can be done for free/less somewhere like Planned Parenthood? Anyway, I would recommend you look into it, as $400/5 years = $6.50 a month.Whats the cheapest form of birth control?
A diaphragm. It's a one-time fee to pay for a re-usable item that you can put spermicide in, which is actually more effective than condoms.
Also, Planned parenthood has different fee categories for incomes - you have to make $200 a week to even fall into the first category.
I'd set up an appointment and have like $20 on you, and talk to a gynecologist to get some hormonal birth control, an IUC, or a diaphragm.
Condoms are no fun.

How does a Scorpio who practices self-control learn to get rid of jealousy and grudges to form perfection?
to bring out the good qualities. I've always been practicing on eliminating the bad, I'm not as manipulative, although I can be. I'm pretty good at controlling my temper a lot more. But whats always bothering me is I'm having very hard time of eliminating feelings of jealousy, and unnecessary grudges.
What can I do to practice getting past this? How does a Scorpio who practices self-control learn to get rid of jealousy and grudges to form perfection?
thats great for you man, i like what your doing making yourself better as a person.
for a scorpio its only in your nature to remember things, you dont fight it or ignore it coz that can be the root of evils, remember it, but it doesnt always have to be in a negative thought, thats whats making you hold grudges, use that energy and intensity to benefit you and not destroy you, im sure if you can hold grudges youll have more than enough determination to figure this one out. no one can really tell you how to do it, youll figure it out yourself in your own terms.
you seem really eager and something in you wants you to change, so i think its only a matter of time before you can.

Try to detach and observe the emotion instead of letting the emotion control you. Also accepting fully that the feeling is there instead of trying to fight it. Which doesn't mean you have to actually act on the feeling. Don't judge yourself for feeling what you feel.
First of all, congratulations on recognizing and deciding to act on your failings! I admire your efforts!
praying and meditation can help you overcome. Also if you think about people who are in very bad situations like chronic illness or severe poverty you will feel grateful for your life and overcome negative feelings!eye makeup tips

If on the Depovera shot as form of birth control, can taking antibiotics still lower its affectivness?
It may. Let your doctor know and see if you need to take any precautions.
Just remember that not even depo taken correctly is 100%!~If on the Depovera shot as form of birth control, can taking antibiotics still lower its affectivness?
Antibiotics lower the effectiveness of all birth control so you need to be using another form of birth control while you take them, such as a condom. They also stay in your body after you stop taking them so make sure you give your body time to recouperate from the illness and antibiotics before you discontinue the use of other forms.

Form of a function in manufacturing quality control?
Hi, Is it possible to write a function for costs to the manufacturer when a product is outside specifications? When the item is between 9 and 11 cm long, there are no costs, but outside these limits, the cost is $10 per item. I could write it in the form of a probability density function including words (';If';...) for cases %26lt;9, 9 to 11, and %26gt;11 cm, but is a function without words possible? Is there any form of birth control that does not make you gain weight?
i been on the pill for a while and gained bout 25 pounds is there any form of birth control that would not cause me to gain weight help plzIs there any form of birth control that does not make you gain weight?
First of all, the birth control does not make you actually physically gain that weight. It increases hunger, and makes it hard to control your appetite. It should also only last for no more than three months, and should result in no more than a five pound gain.
If you're gaining that much, then you're not controlling your diet well.
There are no birth control methods where weight gain is not a possibility. Lucky for you, there are so many different combinations of hormones in different pills. So you can request a different dose from your doctor. Is there any form of birth control that does not make you gain weight?
I'm on Yasmin and I haven't gained any weight. It might depend on the person and how it reacts to your body though... good luck!

Whens its ok to stop using condoms and opt for another form of protection (birth control, etc)?
In your opinions, at what point of being in a committed relationship is it ok to not use condoms anymore and just switch to birth control?
Marriage?
Ive been with my bf for a year and 2 months and we dont use condoms anymore. Were both tested clean and are committed to eachother so I/we see it as ok.Whens its ok to stop using condoms and opt for another form of protection (birth control, etc)?
It sounds like you are there, but you have to think about the risks of getting pregnant and catching an STD. Talk to your OB/GYN. She should have the best advice for you. If you get on the pill and don't miss one! I have too many friends that were on the pill and got pregnant. Also, he COULD cheat on you and catch an STD. I'm not saying he will, but it would only take one time. Good luck!Whens its ok to stop using condoms and opt for another form of protection (birth control, etc)?
Condoms should always be used to prevent STDs regardless if another birth control is used. However, if both partners are committed to each other and you will be in a monogamous relationship, and you will be using another type of birth control, it's fine...time doesn't matter.
if your both std free birth control is actually more effective
if you dont mind the side effects
assuming by birth control you mean the pill..
I don't reccomend stopping any form of protection. Thats not a smart idea at all
Your choice..

Why isn't feminine odor an effective form of birth control?
Even before the widespread production and use of feminine deodorant products, the world's population continued to rise steadily. If people are so turned off by poor feminine hygiene, then why is this the case? Why isn't feminine odor an effective form of birth control?
BECAUSE SOME MEN WILL **** ANYTHINGWhy isn't feminine odor an effective form of birth control?
If everyone has poor hygiene you tend not to notice as much. Besides, after not having sex for a while poor hygiene is not going to stop you. Sex is a natural thing that our bodies are driven to do. One of our major points in life is to have children. That's stronger than anything.

What is a good medication in pill form for dogs to control fleas and ticks?
Comfortis is great and can be taken orally. As someone said before Sentinel is an oral pill, however, sentinel is mainly a heartworm prevention. It also has a flea sterilizer in it. It will not kill fleas it will only keep the ones that bite your dog from breeding. What is a good medication in pill form for dogs to control fleas and ticks?
Few dog owners are fortunate enough to avoid an eventual run-in with fleas, the most common dog parasites. Even with regular bathing and grooming, the tireless critters can find their way to the tender flesh of unsuspecting dogs (and dog owners). The bloodsuckers not only don't pay rent, they cause itching and can transmit diseases to their hosts.
Here's a link that can help you out on flea control. good luck!

I like Sentinel. It protects against heartworm, intestinal parasites and fleas. I'm not sure about ticks, though. And I know it won't do anything for adult fleas already on a dog. A single dose of Capstar will take care of any fleas a dog has, and Sentinel will protect the dog from getting any more.
Capstar, will kill all fleas within 4 hours of dosing. It is a pill. There are no known side effects. Can be given to young pups and can be repeated as needed. There is a web page www.capstar. Still prefer Frontline for the lasting effect but you did ask for a pill form.
I don't think there is a pill shaped medication but there is flea and tick repelent. you can use Revaloution.that is what we use and it works very well.it controls the bugs and everything.we havent seen a bug on my little dog since we started to use it!!
Comfortis is a great pill for fleas on dogs, not sure about ticks. It last for a month.
Front line it works great on my jack Russel he doesn't scratch very often and he doesnt chew at his fur
Frontline. Put a little on your dog's neck every month and they will be good.

Which form of birth control doesn't cause depression ?
I've always used the pill and I feel it causes me to become depressed. I've even tried Yaz and that doesn't make a difference. I'm thinking of trying different methods but would like opinions from others first.
I've put this in this section because I need advice from women not the teens who hang out in women's health.
-ThanksWhich form of birth control doesn't cause depression ?
ask your doctor which one to switch to
im with you on the depression, i ddint relaize it till i went off BC when my husband and i started trying for a baby, but BC mad me insane, i just thought thats hows i was cuz i was on BC for long, but i had wicked mood swings, and i would get so weepy for no reason, since ive gone off im a much more stable person thats for sure, i was on ortho tri cyclen
my husband actaully pointed out to me how much calmer and better id been since stopping birth control and that was when i realized he was right and it made my emotions go nuts!
definately tell your doctor whats happening and see what he recommends
good luck and let us know what he suggests, because after i finally do get pregnant and have a baby i dont want ot get all crazy on BC again!Which form of birth control doesn't cause depression ?
Ok, so let me get this straight. You are married. You are on a birth control pill that you feel is the cause of your depression. So basically, you would rather risk your health, than find alternate methods, non-drug methods, of not getting pregnant.
Is there really anything wrong with using the traditional method of preventing pregnancy in a marriage. Ok, so you can't do it whenever you want. But really is it worth the risk to your health, just so you don't get pregnant?
None of the birth control I was ever on from: Yasmin, the patch, to Depo, to Loestrin, ever made me depressed. If it has hormones, as the pill does, it may do that to u.
U could try Depo (the shot), NuvaRing, Mirena or Paraguard (IUD---if u want it from 5-10 yrs), or the patch (I didn't like it).
I was on regular Yasmin, not Yaz and it was the best birth control I've used. Maybe try that one? Or perhaps are you depressed in general, not related to birth control? Try talking to both your Gyno and Reg Dr. and see what they say. Best of luck!
It may not be the pill causing your depression. I would speak with your doctor, if you haven't already done so, and ask what else you can use. If not you may just have depression and need to treat it accordingly.
I had exactly the opposite effect. It has helped me avoid the mood swings of a normal cycle. The one that affected me the least was loestrin 24, the most was the patch and depo.
Abstinence
Eat Funyuns.
You could consider having a coil implant.
I know the question is for women, but I am firmly convinced that abstinence is a good form of birth control that doesnt cause depression.

What form of birth control is best in your opinion? ?
I'm trying to get on birth control, but there are so many different types. If anyone has anything positive or negative to say please leave a comment. What form of birth control is best in your opinion? ?
I've been using Yaz for the last 6 months, it seems to work nicely. I even lost 5 pounds!
By the way, WTF, Everyone? This question didn't say anything about having sex. I guess everyone needs to be all self-righteous about it, though. What form of birth control is best in your opinion? ?
Careful with IUD, I do believe it is one of the best options, but in most European countries they suggest you wait 6 months to a year after the birth of your child before you have it. Otherwise it may cause some medical problems. And I prefer condoms - you do not have to put anything in your body that does not belong there and keep it there for years.
Abstinence is by far the best. Pills are relatively effective but not 100%, depo shots work but generally cause an increase in weight. Really the best thing is to talk to your doctor about all the side effects of the various types and go from there.
If you have already had a baby, merina is great. the doctor puts it in, you don't really feel any thing, it doesn't hurt at all. It can last up to five years if you want it to and can be taken out whwnever you want. No more worrying about pills patches etc.
I think the nuva ring or the IUD are best, they're nonhormonal.. Any hormonal birth control will cause some problems in someway.. I'm going to get an IUD after I give birth because you can use it for ten years and i havent found any side effects from it..
I've been on orthotricyclen or its generic for about 8 or so years. The pill had an added advantage of regulating my cycle, which was highly irregular before (sometimes as long as 60 days or more in between!) It's nice having predictability.
Check this link, it's very straight forward.
http://www.fda.gov/opacom/lowlit/brthcon鈥?/a>
If you REALLY want to have sex and not get pregnant i highly recommend you using birth control pill AND ALSO condon, that way the chances are so reduced its almost impossible
abstinence is 100% effective, just not very fun.

How often is Erythromycin in tablet form to be taken to help control severe Pimples ?
I dont see how an antibiotic would help pimples. Unless they are getting infected?? But the instructions should be on the bottle. And I would get a second opinion from another doctor about your pimples.
Lost the last active birth control pill-- do I need a backup form of BC next month?
I lost the very last active pill in my pack last month. I got my period a day early. I am going to start my new pack tomorrow (normal day for me to start a new pack). Do I need a back-up form of birth control next month? Or am I protected?Lost the last active birth control pill-- do I need a backup form of BC next month?
One missed day at the end of the active pills is OK. You will just have an 8 day off cycle, no big deal. You will still be protected.Lost the last active birth control pill-- do I need a backup form of BC next month?

Is it possible for any form of birth control to make it so that a pregnancy test will always come out negative?
such as implanon? Is it possible for any form of birth control to make it so that a pregnancy test will always come out negative?
their isnt a 100% contriseptive but i suggst a coil or a dipramIs it possible for any form of birth control to make it so that a pregnancy test will always come out negative?
No. There is not. The only thing that makes a pregnancy test show positive is a hormone known as HGC. In the reverse if a pregnancy test shows negative it means there is too little of a reading of HGC levels, 25hgl, or lower in your blood. The hormones in birth control have nothing to do with the hormones a pregnancy test reads. Hope this helps.

Why do so many think pulling out is a form of birth control?
Because they are idiots and dont know any better.....and think that is an easy and cheap way, until of course they end of with a baby.....Why do so many think pulling out is a form of birth control?
It worked for me for over 8 years. Why do so many think pulling out is a form of birth control?
Not enough parents giving their kids the educational aspects of sex. Some parents ( like mine) expected the school to provide the necessary sex ed.
Apparently they are very young or have not had sex education. Also, very naive people believe this works.
It worked for me for a year until i was ready to get pregnant!
you can still get pregnant true. becauseof premature ejaculation. but i did it for 5 years. everyones different. and for the guy that says you can get pregnant by swallowing semen, no you can not. maybe you should get educated a little more.
people have the mistaken idea that if a guy pulls out and comes on your belly, there'd be no way to get pregnant...but that's a falsehood...there's still a chance that he dripped inside you or as he comes one drops near your vagina and gets in...
the best form of b.c. is abstinence...
p.s. even through the mouth, u can get pregnant...
it doesnt work,if you didn't know there is something call pr-come and if swimms to your tubes is enough sperm to get you pregnant.so think dont be stupid there is nothing more safe than a birth control method along with a condom.just to be extra carefull.
it is a form of birth control, but it just isn't very effective.
It goes back into the earlier centuries. We are not the first ones to think this. But we have the knowledge that I wish most people would use. Some people especially have super swimmers or are really really fertile. Others are lucky because they never got pregnant using this method. It's called the pullout method for a reason and that is because it is a method of prevention though many people are parents because of this method. Not all but some.
because they are uneducated about birth control and sex
So many people are not educated enough and take too many risks.
Because they are stupid and aren't old enough to understand what they are doing.
Ignorance.
because people like to have sex and they dont think about the consequences of their actions until its too late. i'm expecting my second child thanks to the pull-out method.
because they are unedukated and STOOPID
Ignorance and irresponsibility. It doesn't ';feel good'; to wear a condom, and they are obviously to lazy to get on the pill, patch, etc.
Because as the saying goes: ';Ignorance is bliss.'; And blissful people so rarely do anything that might change their blissful state.
Because unfortunatly people dont educate themselves enough on sex.
They aren't thinking microscopically. In the full amount of semen ejaculated, there are LOTS of little spermies in there. If you consider that semen can kind of leak out during sex, before ejaculation, even that tiny possible amount contains enough sperm to cause pregnancy, since it only takes one.
Ignorance is it.
And by the way, I MUST know from the person a little while up: HOW do you manage to get pregnant if semen is in your MOUTH?
Pulling out IS a form of birth control. It's just not a very good method. Likewise the rhythm method that the church endorses is another poor method.

How to make some form controls visible or invisible based on a combo box selection (Codes Request).?
I am developing a directory database in MS Access 2007.

In the Form, double click on the combo box, it will show you the code, then put conditional sort of like this:

control.visible=false;
check the combobox propertie cause I don't remeber exactly the sintaxis but its somethink like that.

I'd say more a matter of behavior control than mind control. The purpose of religion was originally a way to form a cohesive, law abiding society that would work towards a common goal - that is, sustaining the community and its members. This is a good thing.
However, once individuals with goals of power and control take charge, it is easy to subvert a group to follow them. Then add in a mix of different religions/cultures and things get totally out of control.
Mind control would be the control of thoughts, speech, and actions. You have probably noticed that by the Christians own words on YA their God allows his followers only freedom of will. As the Jews, Poles, Russians, and Romany found out between 1939 and 1945 freedom of will can accomplish nothing without freedom of thoughts, speech, and actions.
In most cases yes,i think that the bible was written as an experiment by an atheist to see how people would react and other people have followed on from that.Just think how much power hitler had... and he didnt really even create a religion as such
-=browneyedfox=-
Absolutely. And it's not only cults. In my opinion, any religion that insists that its way is the only way is practicing mind control. Only if people are allowed to question and form their own religious opinions are we free to worship the Divine as we see fit.

I have the IUD form of birth control and my periods have been kinda weird anyone have an idea why?
My period use to be really normal 5 days long and I would know exactly when it was coming and now I have this paste like dark brownish reddish discharge 3 days before it become like my regulaur period.. Thats how it usually was when it was ending.. I have the cooper IUD that has no hormons...And I dont have insurance anymore so I dont know what to do anyone have any advise?I have the IUD form of birth control and my periods have been kinda weird anyone have an idea why?
I have talked to others who have used IUD and they have said that IUDs can interfere with a period. I would recommend checking with a dr. Since you don't have insurance anymore, check with your city's health dept to see if they offer a free clinic. If not check to see if there's a Medical School close by that might be able to help you with this to see what is going on.

Why are values an important of culture and how are values a form of social control?
Go back to the question assigned by your teacher. That question is meaningless since it no more than a compilation of words. Once you have a meaningful question, you will be able to answer it, maybe without coming back to us.Why are values an important of culture and how are values a form of social control?
I think it is called order and disorderWhy are values an important of culture and how are values a form of social control?
In any given culture we are socialised to internalize a certain set of norms and values. Sharing values and beliefs, e.g. about what is or is not acceptable behavior, what are or are not respectable aspirations etc, is what defines a culture, what sets the boundaries that distinguish one group from the next within a wider context. If there were no rules to govern and distinguish a system then that system could not be defined as an entity (culture, society) of its own. So there is your importance factor. Why such values are a form of control should be equally obvious. Deviating from the acceptable, casting aside a set of shared values for new and possibly contradictory ones, does not go unpunished. Control comes with the threat of marginalisation, of emotionally , psychologically, even physically painful repercussions for an individual or sub-group that chooses not to conform to the standard of the day. On the other hand those who do subscribe to their culture's values and beliefs are accepted, rewarded, respected - and having been socialised to value social acceptance, reward and respect, who could be entirely immune to the promise of these delights? ;-)
It's all to do with the norms and standards in your soul, now you've got more to work out ...sorry ...

Access: How do you reference a control in another form?
I want to reference another form's field from the global moduleAccess: How do you reference a control in another form?
Try making a public property or function on the form which will encapsulate the control function you wish to modify.
for example on Form1 create:
Public Sub myFrmButtonEnable( myBln as Boolean)
me.Button.Enable = myBln
End sub
from your module call this sub by
Form1.myFrmButtonEnable = False

Is entertainment a form of thought control?
If you think about it, TV, radio, movies, internet, music, even alcohol etc.. while the minority of it is beneficial for our knowledge and experience. The majority of it is meant to keep our minds ';entertained'; so we cannot think. If you are watching your television, you are basically incapacitating your mind to be filled with pointless thoughts. The content isn't necessarily the basis of thought control, it is the actual process of viewing it.Is entertainment a form of thought control?
Mmm I'd have to disagree. What about the dozens of channels on TV that present factual information, such as the Discovery Channel? I've learned a LOT from watching that show, and most of it is presented in such a cool manner that even teenagers enjoy watching it.
I don't listen to the radio but I do listen to music often, every day, and I'm always searching for more. I'd definitely have to disagree there. Music (or at least, good music) ought to make you think, whether it's pondering the complexity (or simplicity) of the music itself, interpreting the lyrics, or considering the vocals (or even the band/musicians). I have found out so much information from looking up music. I'd have never become interested about other countries if I hadn't begun listening to music from outside of the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. Now I am going to school to study foreign cultures/languages.
I can honestly say that I have learned just as much from the Internet as I have from my public school education. It might just mean that I'm one of the few who takes the initiative to learn new things outside of school - BUT, it's all right here on the Internet. Just a few quick strokes of the keyboard and you have endless information at your disposal.
Alcohol is quite different from music or the Internet, and I agree with you there.
By your logic, anything that could possibly take you away from the everyday world (which includes books) distracts you and makes it so you don't think. I don't think that's true. There are so many times I have sat there and wondered about the meaning of a particular song, or the motives of a character in a movie (and whether or not I would do the same as they did if faced with a similar situation), or whatever. I honestly think I am a more intelligent person thanks to the Internet and music. Is entertainment a form of thought control?
no!!
What's with this crap? these stupid conspiracies. The media in America isn't state run, not since the 50's. In fact, it doesn't like the state. You loony anarchists are just as paranoid as the Coulterians.
Also, if it was stete run, i doubt Michael Moore would have ever gotten famous. That right there proves that it's just ******* entertainment.
What, are we going to stare at walls and play with mud.
Get over it, ya stupid bastards. Stop trying!

What is your form of birth control?
And are you having any side effects?
What is your form of birth control?
Landon's Momma forgot to mention the side effect of abstinence...irritated husband! What is your form of birth control?
FAM (Fertility Awareness Method), and no side effects of course! The Depo shot screwed my hormones up BAD, and made me starving 24/7, even waking me up at night hungry! :( No more drugs for me...
Nuva ring. I can't remember to take the pill so this is fantastic for me. It's a flexible ring you put in once a month and the side affects are low. I actually went on it to get my hormones under control more than anything. Because of infertility, getting pregnant on my own would be a miracle. I actually feel much more balanced being on it, but I have PCOS and my hormones are kind of screwed up.
I use Mirena. The only side effects I have from this is spotting. I haven't had a regular period since I have been on it. I have occasional spotting whenever.... for no particular reason. Its very annoying.
Other then that it isn't too bad. The pill always made me sick. I don't do very good with hormone birth control.
I choose the mirena because I wanted something with low hormones.... something that I didn't have to remember.... and something.... that when I choose to try for another baby.... wouldn't take long to get me back on track menstruating normally.
My husband and I am are discussing getting it take out though. We want to try for our second child soon! :)
im using the implant called ''implanon'' i have had no side effects at all i think its wonderful and so effective because you don't have to take the pill everyday and if your like me i have a forgetful mind.. the only problem is that ive heard that some women get uncontrolled periods like 6 weeks at a time and some get them once in 3 months or some get none at all for the whole 3 years its in.. u have to get it removed at 3 years and a new one put in but its worth a look its easy and you don't have to worry about it in your arm its usually inserted in the upper side of your arm and you don't even know its there highly recommend it
My most effective method so far is no sex. This is working pretty well considering I'm constantly exhausted from chasing my 8 month old around. The only side effect is I get more sleep this way, not a bad side effect at all. Seriously though, when we do have sex we use condoms. I am not on pills or any form of BC.
After numero dos in May 2009 I'll be getting Mirena. I was on Nuva Ring, but I bled for what seemed like 2 whole months so my doctor insisted that I try a different form of bc. Needless to say I didn't and that's why number two is one his/her way. I was also on Ortho Evra, and it was okay, no spotting or anything, but after I was on it for two years it was hell when I stopped my body was going crazy.
I'm on NuvaRing right now, but my blood pressure is a little high (family history of high BP and the ring isn't helping), so I'm probably going to go back to the pill (Yasmin, or maybe switch to Yaz).
Never had any problems with the pill, just remembering to take it every day!
Also, the boyfriend wears condoms.
A baby.
Side effects include tiredness, fatigue, hunger, headaches, smelling like sour milk all the time.......
Ehhh...well hardly any sex since baby came along (9 months ago!!) Has been pretty effective as contraception! Side effects- fustrated husband. But usually the pill is the preferred method!
vasectomy (my husband ne way) and yes he has side effects-sharp pains in his groin occasionally but its better than more kids
I am on a special pill called Efrin (I think) its for nursing moms... although I am thinking about going off of it ... I think it is affecting my milk.
Vasectomy...no side affects.
Femcon Fe. And no side effects.
Pull-out.
Silly i know.
I have on my to-do list to get pills.
No form...I hate any kind of birth control. makes me sick, gain weight, and feel terrible!
no sex and none.
Mirena. I had spotting the first month or so but it's been smooth sailing since!
Depo shot, no side effects. None that I've experienced at least
abstinance
My husband got a vasectomy..YES so we can do as we please and have tons of fun....
pull out
NOPE
since in breastfeeding im taking nord q d its estrogen free and its a pill

yeah!!
it is a form of control for the larger section of people.

Do you think withdrawing from sex is a form of birth of control?
I ended up with my first child while using the withdrawl method. It really isnt very effective, nor very satisyfing. You'll always be worrying that way. Dont risk brining a kid in to the world if you dont have the situation for it.Do you think withdrawing from sex is a form of birth of control?
Nope!! May reduce chances, but there are always a few little wiggly guys who can't wait for the main event!Do you think withdrawing from sex is a form of birth of control?
No, by not having sex, there is nothing to control
No because it doesn't work. There is still millions of sperm that come out before a man ejaculates so you can still get pregnant.
No! Seminal fluid can leak / escape from the penis prior to ejaculating releasing enough semen into the vagina to still create a pregnancy.
The best form of birth control - ABSTINENCE!!
Withdrawal is a form of birth control it is called behavioral method but it is only 89% effective and not a very good idea. When you are having sex dont jus think about getting pregnant because they're STDs and VD and HIV/AIDS so be careful use a condom. Protect yourself. For more information about withdrawal go to: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/birth-c鈥?/a>
No, you can get pregnant from pre-***.
';no'; ABSOLUTELY NOT. You can still get pregnant.
There is fluid released before ejaculation that carries semen.
Please use a condom!! Plus you have to think of safe sex
nowadays!!!! AIDS remember ??
NO! And my best friend has a nine year old to prove it.
If you mean 'abstinence', yes. Abstinence is the ONLY 100 % reliable form of birth control.
If you mean 'pulling out', NO. It is the LEAST reliable form of birth control.
no the withdrawal method is not a good form of bc because the male usually have what you call a precum, its what makes them lubricated, and that precum can have sperm in it so if you're not using a condom you might get pregnant.
lolol
';withdrawing FROM sex';
or ';withdrawing DURING sex';?
It is a form of birth control.
Just not a very good one - and it offers no protection against STD's.
It is actually called ';Coitus Interruptus'; and it is considered the very least effective form of birth control.
No. It simply gives the illusion of protection. It is the last ditch effort of the person who wants to get some (been there, done that). Pre-ejaculate can be enough.
Not unless you're talking about not having it altogether. Withdrawing during sex, as in before the male ejaculates, is the least effective form of preventing a pregnancy.
yeas its
If you mean ';pulling out'; then yes it is a form of birth control.
A very INEFFECTIVE form. During intercourse there is something called pre-ejaculatory fluids that are discharged. A man cannot feel this, and this fluid can contain sperm.
If you withdraw from sex, then yes because you wouldn't be having it. If you withdraw during sex, then no, pre-ejaculate can fertilize an egg too.
are you talking about abstinence or pulling out?
well lets figure this out. unless you are the virgin mary then uh yes. I am gonna go with yes. the only one that is 100%
Yes, it's called the withrdawl method and about 19 out of 100 women using this method will get pregnant.
I got pregnant from 4 years of withdrawal. Not one did he c*m inside me.
ahhh, you're so young. NO IT IS NOT! you want a ';form of birth control';? try this one..abstinence
The only birth control is contraceptives. Withdrawing from sex is called abstinence. Even if it isn't technically birth control, you can't get pregnant if you don't have sex.
if thats what you chose, then yes.

Can you get pregnant twice from the same guy? what is the loudest form of birth control?
answer quick this is importantCan you get pregnant twice from the same guy? what is the loudest form of birth control?
yes...Can you get pregnant twice from the same guy? what is the loudest form of birth control?
Ok...I just can't help myself but to speak my mind on this one...
You sound very dumb. Of course you can get pregnant by the same guy!! You can get pregnant by pretty much any guy lots and lots of times.
And the loudest form of BC??? What are you talking about? Seriously..
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE USE CONDOMS!!
no, all those women with 3 or more children had to run around looking for new men each time.
wow
Yeah you can get pregnant twice from the same guy but once your pregnant you cant get pregnant again. Im not sure what you mean about the birth control.
You can get pregnant from any guy as long as you're producing and egg and he's producing sperm, one, two, three, four, as many times as you can. If you're already pregnant though, while that baby is in there you can't get pregnant with another one. And I'm not sure what birth control you're talking about
yes
You can't get pregnant again if you're already pregnant, but you can get pregnant by the same guy after you have a kid. I think the loudest form of birth control is yelling DON'T CU* IN ME!
Omg this is the dumbest question ive read for ages grow a brain please
What do you mean twice from the same guy? There isnt a limit of pregnancies you can have with one guy. Talk to your doctor about a form of birth control that would work best for you.
yes.
as far as ';loudest'; do you mean most effective? an iUC such as mirena.
can you get pregnant twice from the same guy? of course. do you mean that in some other way besides having two children with the same person?
no... tornado siren...
If you somehow had two eggs when you ovulated SURE, you can get pregnant from the same guy twice.. but I'm not sure were getting what you mean...And the loudest form of birth control? well, i'm not sure what that means either but I'd have to say abstinence... Unless you want to continue having sex in which case you'll need condoms + birth control and MAYBE even a female condom.
I'm not sure how else to answer this question but I tried I guess..?
YES IF YOU HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX WITH THE SAME GUY AGAIN
Yes, as long as a male and female have unprotected sex with each other, pregnancy can happen. Only one pregnancy at a time though. I think pop rocks would make a bit of noise if used as a contraceptive. They wouldn't work, but they'd be loud.
ugh....thats an odd question. haven't you ever seen two siblings with the same father? I'm guessing the loudest form of birth control would be condoms. Blow them up and pop em.
Umm...yea, if i'm reading your question right. Maybe you meant to write it differently because i'm sure there's going to be people who answer %26amp; are making fun of you because they think your question is pretty obvious. Please reword it.
I think maybe one of the implanted birth control or one inserted is probably most effective.
yes...Can you get pregnant twice from the same guy? what is the loudest form of birth control?
Ok...I just can't help myself but to speak my mind on this one...

Is tv used as a form of mind control?
Every time i ask this question it gets deleted. The last time i asked it. It wasn.t even deleted it was just gone. As if i never asked it.Is tv used as a form of mind control?
Yes it is mind control. Kill your cable or satellite and get and HD antenna. FREE TV instead of RENTAL TV. You bought the TV, why should you have to rent to watch it. Then download shows you can't watch on local TV from the internet. Is tv used as a form of mind control?
It's used as a brainwashing tool, yes.

I'm trying to add a search field to control information on a Form with MICROSOFT Access?
I am creating a DVD rental list on MS Access. I want to include a textbox which will allow users to search the DVD's but can't work out how to do it - HELP!!!I'm trying to add a search field to control information on a Form with MICROSOFT Access?
Trying to add a textbox control on a form as a search feature will require some VBA code for a dynamic 鈥榯ext as you type鈥?search by using the 'OnChange' event as it s known for the TextBox control.
If you want a button to run the contents of a search criteria from a TextBox instead (like a parameter) then some VBA code to find records can be added starting by using the wizard utility when adding a button in a form to find records from a key field (i.e. DVD title).
This code then be modified in the module of the Form to make it more flexible using wildcard characters (*) in the search part of the VBA code.
There are other methods but would take too long explain here namely using Listbox control, row source property or Sub form links and so on.
As already mentioned, you could create a parameter query (see http://www.about-access-databases.com/pa鈥?/a> to run a Form, Report or Query instead which may be the easiest route for now until you have gathered more knowledge about VBA (if you are a newbie!)
Hope this helped.I'm trying to add a search field to control information on a Form with MICROSOFT Access?
This needs to be a parameter query, which you set up with all the fields to be extracted but in the dvd field the searcher actually types the name of the dvd and runs the query or, better still if you create a report from the query, it will come up as a parameter report and again they just type in the name of the dvd.

There is a new form of permanent birth control for women that I heard on the radio.?
I was listening to the radio at work and heard an advertisement for Essure. It's a relatively new form of permanent birth control for women. I'm doing the research and have a consultation appointment to find out more. I'm wondering if anyone else has heard of this or has had it done or knows anyone that has had it done. I'ld like to consider this as an option. I'm 36, single mother of 4. my oldest is 16 and my youngest is 8. I seriously don't think i need or want any more children. My doctor wouldn't do the tubal surgery at the time my youngest was born due to complications. So I think this is a good alternative since it is not surgical. So any feed back would be wonderful. And if there are horror stories I need them too. You cannot be to informed. Thanks. There is a new form of permanent birth control for women that I heard on the radio.?
Yes i have heard of it and the doctor i went to while i was pregnant performs the procedure but i have yet to make an appointment because i am not for sure sure if i don't want anymore kids or not.

The Essure procedure is the first and only FDA approved female sterilization procedure to have zero pregnancies in the clinical trials. The Essure procedure is permanent and is NOT reversible. Therefore, you should be sure you do not want children in the future.
The Essure procedure is different than the traditional method of a surgical tubal ligation. With Essure there is no cutting into the body. Instead, an Essure trained doctor inserts spring-like coils, called micro-inserts, through the body’s natural pathways (vagina, cervix, and uterus) and into your fallopian tubes.
The procedure can be performed in your doctor’s office without general anesthesia .
During the first 3 months following the procedure, your body and the micro-inserts work together to form a tissue barrier that prevents sperm from reaching the egg. During this period, you will need to use another form of birth control.
After 3 months, your doctor will perform an Essure Confirmation Test, a special type of x-ray to confirm that your tubes are completely blocked and you can rely on the Essure micro-inserts for birth control.
Unlike birth control pills, patches, rings, and some forms of IUDs, Essure does not contain hormones to interfere with your natural menstrual cycle. Your periods should more or less continue in their natural state. There is a new form of permanent birth control for women that I heard on the radio.?
I am sorry I have not heard of this but it sounds like an IUD would be great for you. It is well tested and lasts for up to 10 years. It is a very quick nonsurgical procedure that is not painful at all.
Here is a link for Essure though: http://www.essure.com/Home/Deciding/Isit…
I've heard quite a bit about it, and Vaginapagina has had a number of people posting about it. It's not for me (not interested in permanent birth control right now) but might be good for you, especially if you're not interested in an IUD. There are some personal stories at the link I provided.
A friend of mine had it done. She didn't have any complications, but I believe that she had to use a condom for couple months until the tissue around the implants had sealed her tubes.
It is basically a cheaper, less dangerous and less invasive tubal, but it is a little bit less reliable, so you absolutely need to go for a check up couple months after you have it put, to make sure everything went ok.
Yea...it's called not having sex. Or, just doing oral/anal sex...enjoy!!
The most effective birth control only costs 10 cents.
You take a dime and hold it between your knees.
